The Spring Awakening: Day Three

Welcome to Day 4 of your Spring Awakening journey! In this invigorating practice, we'll delve into the ancient wisdom of Hatha yoga, exploring the profound connection between the sun and moon within ourselves. Through breath-centered movement and mindful awareness, we'll unite these two powerful forces, paving the way for a deeper spiritual awakening.

What to expect:

  • We'll begin with a series of movements, to help connect to the sun and moon energies. It will be a practise that invigorates the body and mind, symbolising the active, yang energy of the sun and mirroring the passive, yin energy of the moon.
  • Throughout the practice, we'll cultivate deep, conscious breaths, aligning our breath with the rhythm of the sun and moon within us.
  • We'll move with awareness, connecting with our breath and body to cultivate a sense of harmony and balance.

Listen to your body:

  • Throughout this practice, your breath is your most valuable guide. If you find yourself holding your breath, ease out of the pose.
  • Yoga is not about achieving a "perfect" pose, but about cultivating awareness and well-being.
  • If you experience any sharp or persistent pain, gently release the pose and rest.
  • Please feel free to modify any pose to suit your individual needs. Use props, adjust your positioning, or simply rest when needed.
  • It is not a competition. Please honour your body and its unique needs.
